Today I learned that I have been purchased, as Paul the Apostle said:

Because I have been purchased, I no longer belong to me.
It’s His responsibility to take care of mine and my family’s needs.
My bread (desire, the thing that makes me alive) is to do the will of Him who sent me.
This is what makes me happy.
He is the Inventor, I’m the invention.
He knows what is best for me because He knows what I was designed FOR.

He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.
My debts are now His debts and my life is now His life.
In return I get His life, the more abundant life.
Goods and possessions lose their glory (appeal),
But the life that He gives is everlasting and never loses it sparkle.
In this I find life and purpose, apart from Him I can do nothing.
But with Him I can do all things!

Folks,

I haven’t blogged in awhile but I’m going to make an effort to blog more in this coming year.  After working online for 10+ hours per day blogging is the last thing on my mind BUT I intend to change that.

By the way, the first Michigan Sonic is open and the food is great but damn, their food is expensive.  I went to Sonic while in Texas over the Christmas break and their food was actually much cheaper.  Guess when you are the only Sonic in Michigan you can charge whatever you like for food huh?
